How does this work?
The In-Home Experience
I bring everything needed to professionally bathe and groom your dog in the comfort of your home, including my grooming table, dryer, and all tools and equipment. Grooming at home allows dogs—especially seniors, anxious pets, and those who struggle with salon environments—to remain in a familiar space where they feel safer, calmer, and more relaxed throughout the process. Every appointment is private and one-on-one, allowing your dog to receive individualized attention without the stress, noise, or overstimulation of a busy salon.
Appointments are intentionally scheduled with extra time to allow dogs to settle in comfortably and move at a pace appropriate for their age, temperament, and physical needs. Many clients choose in-home grooming because it eliminates stressful car rides, kennel time, and long waits away from home while providing a more peaceful experience for both dogs and their families.
All I need is access to a tub, sink, or bathing area, along with a safe workspace and access to an electrical outlet. Because I use a professional grooming dryer, there will be some noise and airflow during the appointment, so spaces with many delicate items are not ideal. I regularly work in laundry rooms, bathrooms, spare bedrooms, basements, workout rooms, garages, and outdoor spaces when weather allows, and I’m happy to adapt to whatever setup works best for your home and your dog.
My goal is always to create a calm, compassionate grooming experience while treating your home with care and respect. When the appointment is complete, I take all garbage and grooming waste with me and do my best to leave the space just as I found it, aside from the occasional stray hair that may require a quick vacuum afterward. For everyone’s safety, I may decline services for dogs displaying severe aggression or requiring handling beyond what can be done safely and humanely in a home setting.
